Enable Women Mentorship programme is a women entrepreneur empowerment programme, set on helping business owners unleash their full potential. This is an initiative founded on four pillars, knowledge, Integrity, Development and Engagement. These are the values that enable women to meet their potential and to inspire them consistently to achieve more.

Meet Pongo Pule

P ongo Pule is an astute entrepreneur with extensive experience in financial services and insurance, construction, property development. Through strategic foresight, drive and intrinsic motivation, she has made a success of the companies she has worked and developed despite being a woman in a male dominated space.
In 2004, she obtained a degree in Finance and Management from Bond University (Australia). She furthered her studies thereafter with UNISA where she obtained a Certificate of Proficiency (LIFE). Over the years, Pongo has diversified from her finance background and branched into various industries where she sits as a Board Member.
As a dedicated leader and self-motivator, Pongo is both Director and Board Member of Pule Group of Companies in Botswana. The group’s focus is on providing funeral parlour services, insurance and manufacturing. She also co-founded a Botswana originated company, Key Capital in 2007 that now has operations in Johannesburg and Harare. She is currently serving as the CEO and Partner of the holdings company, Afribiz Invest (Pty) Ltd where she is in charge of group strategic issues with over 10 companies under her leadership. In addition to these responsibilities, Pongo sits on the Board of Directors, TODO consulting, Vahva Civils, Key Capital, Legacy Wealth Management and Afribiz Training.
Afribiz Invest (Pty) Ltd is a pan of African Investment Company with a focus on infrastructural space. Its main subsidiaries are in various industries including construction, civils, consulting, property management, insurance, security, electricity, and training. Pongo is comfortable in any executive boardroom and is a perceptive negotiator known for strong business development and sustainable relationship building skills. Her work ethic is based on her personal values, which include excellence, integrity teamwork and success.

Pongo is passionate about empowering women and mentoring women entrepreneurs. Pongo is the Founder of Enable Women Mentorship Programme where she assists women specific to infrastructure space with strategic planning and implementation so that they can grow and ensure sustainability of their businesses. The mission of the programme is to provide entrepreneurial knowledge that supports business growth and develop mutually beneficial relationships and access to markets.

The aim of the Mentorship is to provide entrepreneurial knowledge that supports business growth, develop relationships with other SMMEs, professional and personal development facilitation. The Mentorship focuses mainly on insurance and financial services, construction, property development and business development
The mentorship will span the course of a year, beginning with an annual launch on Women’s Day. Once the mentorship programme has been completed, certificates of participation are handed out to the mentees.

The Enable Women Mentorship programme was founded by Pongo Pule, the CEO and Partner of Afribiz Invest (Pty) Ltd, who felt a deep desire to pour into younger women entrepreneurs. Pongo Pule is a successful business women with the experience and wisdom to inspire a multitude of women.

Enable Women is designed to empower female entrepreneurs in the infrastructural space with strategic planning and implementation so that they can grow and ensure sustainability of their businesses.. In addition to empowering women entrepreneurs, Enable Women was founded to bring women together and inspire hope and provide the women a safe space to encourage one another and unleash their full potential.

There are currently 11 mentees, all of whom are women entrepreneurs, ranging from the ages 25 – 36, with varying experience in their respective spheres, including but not limited to; law, marketing, finance and property. The diversity of the women was purposed for networking and allowing for the creation of opportunities among the mentees.
